MOTRHEAD: Another Concert Canceled Due To LEMMY's Hand Injury
November 11, 2011MOTRHEAD has been forced to cancel another concert after the band's mainman, Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister (bass, vocals),suffered an injury to his left hand and was unable to play.
A statement from the band reads: "With regret MOTRHEAD has to cancel the Norwich show tonight [Friday, November 11] due to an injury on Lemmy's left hand. Unfortunately, Lemmy is still not able to play."
MOTRHEAD previously canceled its November 8 concert at Bristol, England's Colston Hall for the same reason.
The two dates are part of "The Wrld Is Yours" tour, which features ANTI NOWHERE LEAGUE and UK SUBS supporting.

Nov. 14 - Newcastle, UK - O2 Academy
Nov. 15 - Glasgow, UK - O2 Academy
Nov. 17 - Nottingham, UK - Royal Centre
Nov. 18 - Manchester, UK- O2 Apollo
As previously reported, MOTRHEAD will release "The Wrld Is Ours Vol. 1 - Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else" on November 14 via Motrhead Music / UDR / EMI.
"The Wrld Is Ours Vol. 1 - Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else" gives you the complete set from the band's supreme performance in Chile at the Teatro Caupolican in Santiago on April 9, 2011, shot by Banger Films and Sam Dunn ("Iron Maiden Flight 666", "Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage"). The DVD continues with some tasty morsels from New York's Best Buy Theater and the Manchester Apollo.
